While wide-angle lenses may be the staple of any landscape photographer’s kit, a telephoto lens present not just a challenge, but an opportunity too. Zooms compress the elements in a scene in unique ways and help to isolate key elements in the scene.
I ventured into the California Redwoods, nestled deep within Victoria’s Otways region. Equipped with my 70-300mm zoom, I wandered amongst the giants, searching for fresh compositions of this stunning region.
